Smart Non-contact Water dispenser is an automated water dispensing system that eliminates the need to touch the tap. By using ultrasonic technology, it detects the presence of a glass or hand and automatically opens the valve. How It Works
1. Detection: An Ultrasonic Sensor is mounted near the tap to monitor for objects (like a hand or a glass).
2. Processing: The Arduino Nano detects when an object is within a few centimeters.
3. Mechanical Action: The Servo Motor, which is physically connected to the tap handle via a linkage/string, pulls the handle up to start the water flow.
4. Auto-Shutoff: As soon as the glass is removed, the sensor triggers the servo to release the handle, stopping the water immediately to prevent wastage.
